Predator (Yautja)

A Yautja or "Predator" as the species is more commonly known as is an alien humanoid with advanced technology and a penchant for hunting difficult game. With interstellar travel capability, multi-spectrum vision enhancement and a light-bending armour suit with weapons like an energy weapon and spear. The Predator creature is supposedly able to travel anywhere, hunt anything and usually succeed. They come from a battle-based society where young Predators are trained within a galaxy of fierce beasts.

In Predator the creature descends on earth interested in hunting exotic game (in this case man). The Predator scans the earth's broadcast frequencies and chooses Central America as a location. A U.S. Special Forces unit is also en route to the same location, and during their operations stumble upon the Predator hunting humans. The military unit possesses significant weapons, which attracts the creature's attention. During the final conflict in the forest, only one American is left and a cat-and-mouse game begins with each adversary hunting the other. Predator is finally outsmarted and self destructs himself using a bomb.

The creature is also known as the "Demon who makes trophies of men", labeled thus by local jungle village people in central America.

A predator will not kill an unarmed person as long as there is more dangerous game to be hunted down, but when he kills his prey he cleans and keeps the skulls of his victims to display as trophies

The creature has a fail safe button integrated into his wrist band equipment which he can activate and self destruct himself and the area around him if he should be too badly injured and be unable to continue with his mission.

Their blood is green.

STRENGTHS :	Have engineered lots of new weaponry and space crafts far in advance of anything on earth at the time.
WEAKNESSES :	Can only see in inferred without the aid of their vision equipment.
WEAPONS :	Predators carry futuristic weapons such as a length changing spear, an energy weapon almost like a small shoulder rocket launcher. They have huge retractable claws on their hands similar to wolverine from the movie X-Men and also a type of round Frisbee that can cut its way threw flesh when thrown.
