Narrator:
"The legend of Jack the Giant Killer was born over a thousand years ago in Cornwall, England near Land's End. There was a time when the Kingdom of Cornwall lived in fear and trembling of the Black Prince Pendragon - master of witches, giants and hobgoblins - who ravished the land. But at long last Herla the Wizard drove Pendragon and his witches from the kingdom and exiled them beyond the reaches of the known world. Here on a misty isle, uncharted and unknown, Pendragon schemed and waited for the day when he could return to power in Cornwall. Then, after many years, the day came."
Pendragon uses a giant which he sneeks into the King of Cornwalls castle under the discuise of a small dancing figureen as a present for the Princess Elaine's birthday. He then magically returns the small figure to its real 30 foot height, and the giant steels the Princess.
Jack manages to slay the Giant and returns the Princess to the King, there they hatch a plan to hide the Princess. While on a journey at sea Pendragon thwarts there plan by sending his whitchs to intercept the Princess, and she is taken to his Castle.
Jack meets up with a Viking called Sigurd when he and the dead Captains boy called Peter are thrown over board by the crew for supposadly causing the witches to attack them. Sigurd has a magic Imp called Diablotin in a bottle who helps Jack to get the Princess back. Eventually Pendragon turns into a Dragon to try and kill Jack...but Jack kills him and Pendragon's castle collapses.
