The Aliens use a queen alien to lay eggs, of which open (hatch) at the top to reveal a 'Face Hugger' which does just that to its living host. The 'Hugger' plants an embryo (Chest Buster) in the host which eventually hatches through the host's chest and grows in to a creature which grows very fast into an foot tall alien. With acid for blood these creatures are very tough and fast and are perfect predators. They are like black cockroaches in appearance and can climb walls and ceillings.
