About

I myself have always had a morbid fascination with villains so I decided to create an Index online so that fans can enjoy them as much as me and so fans can find out more information about the Villains they like...and so after many months of designing, altering and mental punishment (web design is no easy subject if your an amateur like myself!) here we have it ! ! Please enjoy the site and feel free to contact me if you have any villain requests (I will get through each in turn) as I'm sure there are many many more which I can add!

The images I have used have come from free web sources so as not to use anyone elses copywrited material.

FAQ - in no particular order

1. How long did this site take to build?
answer: I'm still building it!! To get it to the stage where there's enough to put live on the net....easily a year.

2. Where do / did you get your information and images from for the site?
answer: Most of the images are from films and from the public domain, that way I'm not impending on anyone's else's site content...hopefully my images are all original to the net. The information comes from many sources and then has been translated into my own words.

3. Can I use the images on your site?
answer: Yes please do, I don't own the writes to any of the images so it would be unfair of me to stop anyone else using them.

4. There are plenty of depictions of charactor's such as Dracula and Frankenstein why have you generalised it so?
answer: The reason for this is precisly that, in quite a few instances I've generalised the charactor's to that of there most recognized depiction so the reader will instantly recognize the character, then if you want to find out more, you follow the links.

5. Why have you got creatures such as 'Loch Ness Monster' and 'The Thing' listed in the Villain Index? Aren't they monsters rather than villains?
answer: I use the word 'Villain' as a general term for all things 'nasty' and 'Evil' and 'Cruel' ect ect...you get the general idea?! After all if I had an index called 'Monsters', then I wouldn't be able to include 'gangsters' would I????for e.g.
